«Rokossovskogo Boulevard» (until July 8, 2014 — «Podbelskogo Street») is a Moscow metro station, the terminus of the northeastern radius of the Sokolnicheskaya line. Located on the territory of the Bogorodskoe district (VAO). It was opened on August 1, 1990 as part of the Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad — Podbelskogo Street section. It was temporarily closed from 16 to 23 February and from 30 March to 4 April 2019 for the construction of the Great Circle Line.

The station was opened under the name “Podbelskogo Street” on August 1, 1990 as part of the “Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad” — “Podbelskogo Street” section, after the commissioning of which there were 143 stations in the Moscow metro. It was named after Podbelsky Street, renamed Ivanteevskaya in 1994 (at the intersection of this street with 7th Podbelsky Passage, the northern exit from the station is located). After renaming the street, which received its original name in honor of the party and statesman Vadim Podbelsky, the name of the station lost its geographic referencing, although the name of Podbelsky has survived to this day in the names of the 7th and six more thoroughfares located in the same area. By the decision of the Moscow Interdepartmental Commission on the naming of territorial units, streets, metro stations, organizations and other city facilities, the Podbelskogo Street station on July 8, 2014, in preparation for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, was renamed Rokossovsky Boulevard. The distance from the station’s ground lobbies to the boulevard itself is more than 500 meters.

As Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin noted: “Together with the Council of Veterans, we worked out a set of measures to prepare for the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. Some of the events are dedicated to perpetuating the memory of the war heroes, great commanders who defended Moscow and our Motherland. The proposal was to rename the Ulitsa Podbelskogo metro station to the Bulvar Rokossovskogo metro station.
