Filatov Lug is a Moscow metro station on the Sokolnicheskaya line. It is located in the settlement of Sosenskoye (NAO) between the SNT «Filatov Lug» and the Khovanskoye cemetery in the alignment of the Solntsevo — Butovo — Varshavskoye highway, according to the first of which it got its name. It was opened on June 20, 2019 as part of the Salaryevo — Kommunarka section. By design, it is a ground covered single-span station with an island platform.
For the first time, the station appeared on the plans for the development of the Moscow metro in the summer of 2014, when on June 26 an order was issued to draw up a plan for the extension of the Sokolnicheskaya line by two stations from Salaryevo to areas of prospective development. By the summer of 2015, an extension was designed for 5 stations: to the Sosenki station with a change to the line to Kommunarka. The implementation of these plans remained a distant prospect, however, in November, the materials of the project on amending the General Plan of the city of Moscow regarding the annexed territories were published, according to which, at the first stage, only one station, Filatov Lug, was left on the section of the Sokolnicheskaya line extension behind the Salaryevo station. … At the beginning of 2016, plans to extend the Sokolnicheskaya line to Kommunarka again underwent changes: the number of stations on the new section was again increased to five (in July, the fifth station was deleted — «Nikolo-Khovanskaya», between the stations «Filatov Lug» and «Prokshino») , but now the new section of the line was routed along the road under construction Solntsevo — Butovo — Varshavskoe highway to the terminal station «Kommunarka».
In September 2016, preparatory work began at the construction site of the station; by the end of June 2017, foundation piles were already being driven. In July 2017, the corresponding planning project was officially approved. On March 16, 2018, on the public procurement website, a competition was launched for the performance of contract work for the construction of the Salaryevo — Stolbovo section by October 2019; the results of the competition were announced on April 28. Contrary to the date indicated at that time, the technical launch of the site took place on January 14, 2019, and the official opening was on June 20, 2019.
