Olkhovaya is a Moscow metro station on the Sokolnicheskaya line, located in the settlement of Sosenskoye (NAO) near the border with the village of Kommunarka at the intersection of the Solntsevo — Butovo — Varshavskoye highway and Kaluzhskoye highway. It got its name from Olkhovaya Street in the nearby village of Sosenki. The opening took place on June 20, 2019 as part of the Salaryevo — Kommunarka section. By design, it is a shallow single-span station with an island platform.

The station appeared on the plans for the development of the Moscow metro in early 2016, when plans were worked out to extend the Sokolnicheskaya line to Kommunarka: the line was routed along the road under construction Solntsevo — Butovo — Varshavskoe highway to the terminal station Kommunarka. As of June 2017, construction work was already underway on the Salaryevo — Kommunarka section, and in July the corresponding project for extending the Sokolnicheskaya line was officially approved. On March 16, 2018, on the public procurement website, a competition was launched for the performance of contract work for the construction of the Salaryevo — Stolbovo section by October 2019; the results of the competition were announced on April 28. Despite this, the technical launch of the station took place on January 14, 2019, and the opening was on June 20 of the same year.
